Since its foundation in 1970, the activities of Eckelmann AG have been focused on the development and production of electronic controllers for machines as well as the software development and systems integration for plant automation. Eckelmann AG is the parent company of Eckelmann Group. The group comprises three companies and further consists of Ferrocontrol Steuerungssysteme GmbH Co. KG in Herford, Germany, an automation company with focus on drive technology and industrial PCs, and Eckelmann s.r.o. in Tvrdonice, Czech Republic, which specialises in refrigeration.
