Efficient energy exchange between all drives in the intermediate circuit
The E°Darc DCB energy storage is a capacitor module with integrated fast discharge and optional precharging circuit for brake energy recovery and peak load capping. The energy storage units can be used, for example, to temporarily store the braking energy of large drives in production lines or servo presses.
Further possibilities arise in generally dynamically reversing applications - i.e. wherever there are constant braking and acceleration processes or machines with short cycle times. Furthermore, the precharging function can be used to cap peak loads and thus save connected load. This is also referred to as "peak shaving".
