Image Processing
The human ability to capture and process images is fascinating and has been the subject of research for many decades. The technical replicas of human vision are called image processing systems. Such image processing systems are widely used in automation technology. However, their application is not easy, because just like the biological model, such systems consist of an image sensor (camera), image transmission (network) and image evaluation (software). Of course, these subsystems have to be designed and adapted for the respective task. And very important: image processing systems are highly dependent on the prevailing environmental conditions. Under all these influencing factors, to generate a robust and industrial solution requires a lot of experience and a good overview of available cameras, lenses, illumination and software libraries for image processing.
We deliver several hundred image processing systems per year for different applications to our customers. This makes us the partner for the development and supply of customer-specific and ready-to-install solutions.
