It was company founder Matthias Rex who invited his guests on October 30 to an exciting and personal journey through 35 years of company history. At his side was managing director Lars Agricola, who showed how the company is equipped for the future. The celebration was held with companions, colleagues, and partners in the historic “Zentralheize” in Erfurt.
Matthias Rex founded REX Automatisierungstechnik after German reunification and, over the course of 35 years, developed it into a guarantor of quality and delivery reliability. With Lars Agricola, the generational transition has been successfully completed. It was a personal matter and a great pleasure for me to express my recognition and appreciation on behalf of all my colleagues at Eckelmann AG and the group of companies at the celebration in Erfurt!”
As a co-partner, Philipp Eckelmann found emotional words to describe the long-standing, trusting, and successful partnership between equals. REX Automatisierungstechnik GmbH has been part of the Eckelmann Group since 2012.
In addition to good conversations, reunions with long-standing companions, timeless music, and invitations to enjoy each other’s company, speed artist and caricaturist Georg Zitzmann created a lively atmosphere with humorous portraits of the guests.
Social commitment in the region is a way of life at REX AT: that’s why a donation box was set up on the anniversary evening, with the proceeds going to support two projects close to our hearts, the Albert Schweitzer Children’s Village and the Jesus Project in Erfurt.
