The RCI: Counting and Inspection is used for 100% quality control in automated processes.
The system enables multiple features to be recorded in parallel and inspection goods to be sorted quickly.
The RCI is used, for example, for pooling products such as returnable containers and pallets (RPCs) as well as in the food industry, for example for meat or cheese inspection, sorting or measuring dough pieces.
The inspection device can be integrated into existing conveyor technology to save space without having to intervene in its control system. It makes continuous decisions even at very high conveyor speeds and, if required, sends signals to the higher-level conveyor control system for post-processing, such as ejection or conveying to the picking station.
Process reliability in quality control is significantly increased compared to manual control and the dispatch of NOK goods is reduced to a minimum.
Depending on the task, each RCI and the vision components it contains are adapted to the individual customer application and the goods to be inspected.
Data exchange with higher-level IT systems is possible.
