At the SPS live event, under the motto “Handmade Automation,” Eckelmann presents a Plug & Play solution for automated milling — compactly integrated into the control cabinet. Safe Control: E°SLC 89

With the E°SLC 89 safety controller, a high-performance, SIL3 and PL e certified safety master is available, which — thanks to the tight integration of Safety PLC and CNC — can map even complex and fine-grained safety logic in the PLC. Safe communication with the drive level and all safe I/O modules is achieved via FSoE (FailSafe over EtherCAT). Thus, the E°SLC 89 becomes the central contact point for the entire machine safety system.
